Job description

Independently owned, fast-growing, and hugely respected, our client is an Australian consultancy at the forefront of commercial behavioural science.

Experts at uncovering the intricacies of human behaviour, they solve real-world business problems for an outstanding profile of local and international clients across a wide-ranging spectrum of industries, from financial services to healthcare, retail, and sustainability.

Bespoke and brief-led, no two projects will be the same. In one month, you could uncover tools to speed up the diagnosis of rare diseases, re-conceptualise retail experiences, investigate the psychology of saving, optimise sales call conversions or develop interventions that reduce the risk of drink-driving.

  • Triangulating, synthesising, and interpreting quantitative data

  • Testing and evaluating ideas

  • Designing and applying evidence-based interventions

  • Inspiring clients to take action and helping implement interventions

Thought leaders in behavioural science, psychology, consulting, and neuroscience, the team is doing extraordinary work and has a coveted reputation for the quality of their thinking and successful results.

The essentials:

  • Prior commercial consulting experience – management consulting or market research

  • Postgraduate academic qualifications in psychology, economics, or behavioural science

  • Ability to translate academic concepts into commercial acumen and simplify complexity

  • Demonstrated understanding of behavioural science frameworks

  • Comfortable grappling with problems with a high degree of ambiguity

  • Natural ability to think analytically, creatively, and laterally all at once

  • Genuine, down-to-earth, collaborative, and love learning

  • Deeply passionate about commercial behavioural science
