Project Manager/Operations Coordinator - Strategic Research Consultancy

About the Team:
This team of experts excels in both B2B and B2C research, employing a variety of methodologies to provide high-impact insights and strategies. Their specialist areas include Technology, Telecommunications, Built Environment, Healthcare (OTC), Social, Retail, and Financial Services. Projects range from quick-turnaround local assignments to extensive multimarket and international work. They are adept at integrating various data streams (primary, secondary, customer, business, etc.) and take a thoughtful approach to client briefs.

The Role:
Sitting in with the research consulting team, you will be responsible for driving the operational aspects of quantitative and qualitative studies across costing, project set-up, data collection, data management and delivery.
  
Responsibilities Include:
  • Supporting the research consultants with the technical/operational delivery of studies. Both Quant and Qual.
  • Provide input into proposals, such as costs, best practices, sampling, etc.
  • Managing external fieldwork suppliers.
  • Preparing project plans and timelines.
  • Writing recruitment screeners.
  • Checking scripts, managing sample and monitoring quotas.
  • Dealing with clients on anything logistical, such as required stimulus, etc.
  • Overseeing DP and Data Analysis.
  • Quality – any experience with ISO compliance will be viewed favourably.
Project Examples:
  • Assisting a manufacturer in breaking into markets across Australia, UK and Asia
  • Leading an extensive program to investigate skill shortages in Australia and strategies for retention and training.
  • Providing thought leadership, brand, and NPD work for a leading tech company across multiple markets globally.
  • Collaborating with a large developer to promote sustainability in residential developments.
About You:
  • You will have 2-3 years plus of project management, fieldwork coordination or research operations experience.  
  • You’ll have an excellent understanding of the end-to-end research process across quant and qual methodologies.
  • You’ll be numerate and ideally comfortable with Q or SPSS. Good Excel skills are essential.
  • With an eye for detail, you are a master organiser and a juggler of tasks.
  • You’ll have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
