Qualitative Research Manager - Global Communications Advisory

Qualitative Research Manager:

The business has four key pillars: intelligence, advisory, campaigns and research.
Research is at the core of their success. Identifying what audiences think about an issue and the why behind these drivers, motivators and behaviors resulting in persuasive messages in shifting opinions and behaviour. They provide actionable insights, not just commentary.

As the Research division grows, there is a gap within the business for a Qualitative Research Manager to join them. This is a new role that will be tailored around the individual with key Responsibilities encapsulating:
  • Build trusted relationships with commercial and political clients across all sectors 
  • Explore and diagnose business problems.
  • Apply quantitative and qualitative methods to understand behaviour
  • Design and manage projects.
  • Facilitate IDI’s, focus groups, workshops and online communities
  • Triangulate, synthesise and interpret data
  • Design evidence-based recommendations
  • Inspire clients to action
  • Work cross-functionally across the campaigns, advisory and PR departments 
This role would suit a commercially astute critical thinker who has:
  • Proven qualitative experience within research, strategy, communications, or management consulting.
  • Confidence leading projects from initial pitch through to final presentation
  • A qualitative toolkit with experience facilitating stakeholder interviews, online communities, workshops, focus groups, etc
  • An ability to think critically, analytically and strategically.
  • Experience presenting to C-suite executives
You’ll work alongside a high-performing team that will stretch your intellectual, consulting and problem-solving skills. There will be regular travel around Australia, as you’ll represent the voices of all Australians and communities.
