Qualitative Researcher - FMCG & BRAND INSIGHTS
Job description
With offices in Australia & the USA, our client is a consumer-centric brand strategy & insights consultancy.
They’re specialists within the FMCG, RETAIL, and CPG industries, partnering with many of the world's most loved food, beverage, and supermarket brands.
What makes them unique is understanding consumers from multiple perspectives, utilising diverse thinking and tools—qualitative research, advanced quant analytics, UX, brand strategy, design thinking, ethnography, and shopper—which allows them to translate consumer thinking into complete insights, stories, and recommendations that inspire clients to action.

As the agency grows, they’re excited for a qualitative insights strategist to join them, leading projects from initial prop through to final presentation, with a key focus on translating research insights into strategic recommendations and actionable tools.
We’re looking for quallies that love delving into the consumer psyche to find the spark of insight that unlocks a category or brand opportunity and inspires your client to action.
All projects are ad-hoc, so you’ll enjoy a constant stream of varied work on topics such as – brand strategy, package design, innovation, NPD, communications & brand identity!

- Prior agency experience within qualitative insights/strategy
- Confident managing client relationships & projects end to end
- An ability to communicate with stakeholders of all level
- Expertise in ethnography, focus groups, and IDI’s
- Inherent interest/experience in FMCG
