Your Role: Creating Strategies that Make a Difference
  
As a Research Account Manager, you’ll help manage key client relationships, act as a trusted advisor, and work to understand the deeper business challenges and opportunities your clients face. You’ll design innovative, multidisciplinary research programs across quantitative and qualitative methodologies, extract commercial stories from complex data, and shape strategic recommendations that drive change.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  
  • Build strong, consultative relationships with key clients to understand their business and industry landscape.
  • Design and deliver tailored research solutions combining both quant and qual approaches.
  • Develop compelling surveys, analyze quantitative data sets, and distill key insights.
  • Conduct qualitative research, such as in-depth interviews (IDIs), to enrich your understanding.
  • Transform data into clear, influential insights and present these in engaging formats.
  • Identify opportunities for further engagement and growth with existing clients.
  • Contribute to thought leadership and support the creation of impactful content.

Who You Are:
  
You’re an experienced Insights Consultant with a passion for uncovering the ‘why’ behind the ‘what’ and a knack for telling compelling data stories. With a strong toolkit in quantitative research and an appetite to expand your skills across qual, you’re ready to immerse yourself in a new challenge.
  
Key Attributes:
  • C2+ years experience in a commercial research agency.
  • Strong quantitative skillset is essential; qualitative experience is a plus.
  • Analytical and strategic thinker who loves solving complex problems.
  • Experience with stats packages like Q or SPSS
  • Confident communicator with a natural flair for client relationship management.
  • Knowledgeable about the Australian business environment and its current market trends.
