Research Manager - Boutique Insights Agency
Job description
We’re looking for a quantitative (or dualist) Research Manager to join one of Sydney’s most agile and strategic boutique research agencies. Working closely with the agency founder, you’ll have the opportunity to take on a leadership role and shape the future of the business while delivering high-impact insights for commercial brands across retail, tech, and FMCG.
The role is 70% quant, 30% qual, blending innovative methodologies to tackle brand positioning, segmentation, pricing, CX, UX, and other business-critical challenges. Projects span Australia, Japan, Korea, and India, giving you exposure to both local and international markets.
Beyond research, you’ll play a strategic client partner role—leading projects from pitch to presentation, developing bespoke methodologies, generating actionable insights, and mentoring junior team members. Your ability to think commercially, tell compelling stories with data, and build strong client relationships will be key to success.
This is a rare opportunity to step up in your career, work in a highly collaborative environment, and contribute meaningfully to the agency’s growth.
