Qualitative Brand Strategist - Cultural + Behaviour + Brand

Job description

We’re looking for a strategic thinker with an appetite for learning, experimenting, and pushing boundaries in the space of consumer insight strategy.
  
You’re a cultural sleuth. Passionate about talking, observing people and developing a deep contextual understanding of behaviour and motivation.
  
You love theory but moreover you love applying it in a commercial agency context, working across a constant flow of projects and clients to unlock growth opportunities with inspiring strategies to engage consumers and create cultural meaning.

  Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and strengthen client relationships
  • Unpack client problems and design research frameworks
  • Qualitative consumer engagement techniques – groups, workshops, ethnography, social media
  • Synthesising, analysing and contextualising data
  • Delivering impactful strategies in creative, inspiring stories
  • Trend blogs and written pieces detailing the changing culture of consumers and brands
  • Spotting opportunities to evolve client’s thinking and your own
  Our Ideal Profile:
  • Previous experience working in consumer insights – research agency, brand strategy or planning
  • A keen interest in consumer behaviour
  • Expert in qualitative research methods
  • A psych/behavioural academic profile is particularly exciting
  • A commercial brand/marketing/innovation lens of insights
  • Excellent at distilling findings into tangible actions for clients
  • You can think analytically, creatively, and laterally all at once
  • You enjoy a varied role tackling problems such as: brand strategy & communications, product experience and service design, decoding society at scale, illuminating people and tribes.
