Senior Quantitative Researcher – Brand & Ad Hoc Projects
This role focuses on large-scale brand equity studies and high-impact ad hoc projects.
With a strong quantitative focus, you’ll be the go-to expert for complex, structured tracking programs, particularly with key financial services clients. We’re looking for a sharp client lead who can nurture and strengthen stakeholder relationships, elevate strategic thinking, and ensure the highest quality of data and insights delivery.
You'll enjoy a laser focus on a few priority clients, complemented by ad hoc projects across Insurance, Tourism, and Retail sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and enhance relationships with clients across Tourism, Retail, Finance, and Insurance.
Oversee two key brand-equity tracking programs.
Design ad hoc quantitative research projects, including segmentation, U&A, brand positioning, and concept testing.
Turn quantitative data into compelling narratives—Q skills essential.
Present data-driven strategies that inspire clients to take action.
Collaborate with Directors to identify new business opportunities.
Support internal cultural initiatives and manage project teams.
Opportunity to grow into a line management role.
What You’ll Love:
A close-knit, agile research team embedded within a larger group of PR, creative, and strategy agencies—it’s dynamic and exciting!
A continuous stream of interesting and purposeful work, primarily commercial, with some government projects if you're interested.
Exceptional leadership at both local and national levels to support your growth.
Modern, vibrant office spaces in both Sydney and Melbourne.
Tailored training programs and clear promotional pathways.
Regular social events for connection and relaxation.
A Work180-endorsed employer of choice, recognized for its workplace initiatives and flexible working policies.
Candidate Requirements:
5+ years of experience in consumer insights and strategy.
A full-service quantitative research background—market research agency experience is essential.
Hands-on expertise in quantitative research, with a passion for the craft.
Proven experience managing tracking programs, especially in brand equity.
Strong understanding of brand, advertising, and communications strategy.
A track record of delivering outstanding client outcomes.
