Job description

  • Work for an award-winning strategic research and communications consultancy

  • Solve complex challenges across reputation, crisis management, behaviour change, and corporate intelligence
  • Fast-tracked promotions, clear growth pathways, and a high-performance culture
  • Flat structure, transparent leadership, and hands-on exposure to impactful projects
  • One-on-one mentoring, structured training, and a generous bonus scheme
As a Research Consultant, you’ll play a key role in designing, delivering, and presenting research-driven strategies and campaigns. Your work will go beyond simply reporting on what people think—you’ll uncover why they think it and deliver clear, action-oriented recommendations that drive change for commercial and political organisations.

Customised and highly strategic – projects are 100% bespoke across topics such as trust, political polling, engagement, reputation, behaviour change, campaign evaluation, engagement and corporate intelligence.

Whilst this role sits within the Research Division of the consultant, you’ll work cross functionally with the campaign, advisory and intelligence teams, deepening your consulting and advisory capabilities.

We’re looking for commercially astute, strategic thinkers who thrive in a fast-paced environment. You may have a background in market research, consulting, communications, or PR, and you’re eager to take your career to the next level. You’ll be hands on with;
  • Quantitative and qualitative research – designing customised research, survey design, in-depth interviews, and stakeholder workshops
  • Data analysis and insight generation – distilling complex information into clear, strategic recommendations using SPSS/Q
  • Consulting  – turning research findings into compelling narratives that influence decision-making at a senior level
  • Cross-functional collaboration – working closely with consulting, communications, and strategy teams to deliver integrated solutions and design results winning campaigns
You’ll bring:
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, politics, research, or a related field
  • A solid understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to simplify complexity
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive mindset and genuine enthusiasm for consulting
  • Understanding of the political landscape and a genuine interest in current affairs
This role is Sydney-based, with stunning CBD offices overlooking the harbour with sate-of- the-art end of trip facilities, fast-tracked promotional pathways and an impressive senor leadership team
