Research Director - Evaluation, Comms, Behaviour Change

The Role: Research Director
As a senior leader, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Federal to drive strategic growth for our federal government-focused team. Your responsibilities include developing and executing long-term strategies, spearheading business development efforts through thought leadership and speaking engagements, and staying informed on emerging government priorities.
You will lead the design and management of large-scale, complex proposals addressing government complexities and current social issues. This role involves a hands-on approach to projects with support from your team, utilizing a consultative and method-agnostic approach to drive innovative solutions and enhance strategic outcomes for clients.

About You
You have extensive experience working with the Federal Government in a strategic insights and advisory role. Your background includes expertise in behavioral communications, policy development, and evaluation. You are skilled in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and adept at designing and running complex projects. You can effectively translate insights into compelling strategies for various stakeholders, including communications suppliers, campaign managers, government departments, and ministers.

Location: Open to candidates nationwide, with regular travel to Canberra required.
